It is a pretty box. I question the durability. Maybe I should write you in a year and let you know. When I opened the package, the first thing i noticed is the metal latch was coming off of the box. It will need to be rehammered in somehow or hot-glued. The "latch hardware" is definitely a bit cheap. The painting on the other hand is nice and the corner drawers are appealing to my 7 year old daughter. There is not a ton of storage space, but there are multiple compartments which seems to appeal to young girls. -- pretty, but hardware a bit chincy
This isn't a toy, it's a musical horse jewelry box which my 6 year old granddaughter loves. Though it's made of cardboard, it's extremely sturdy and beautifully decorated. I was pleasantly surprised at how lovely it is. I had family jewelry that I put in it and gave it to her for Valentine's Day. It's a total winner!! -- musical horse jewelry box
